No, being impregnated unwillingly is not a “gift”. If you were conceived through rape you are still a person as much as anyone else and deserve respect, but your mother never should have been raped.
Yes, that means you never should have been born. But you know what? Your existential crisis is not more important than anyone else’s rights.
Apparently I’m only here because my mom didn’t have access to the pill and had to use less reliable forms of contraception. I still wholeheartedly support access to birth control even though I probably wouldn’t be here if my mom had been able to get it at the time I was conceived.
