I’m too chicken shit to do tbc (The Big Chop) so I just cut it when it suits me.
This is my latest cut, I[‘m enjoying myself so far lol
Six months going~!
I enjoy my derpiness
I did some amateur ubuntu knots and omg did it come out beautiful.
after I washed my hair and used these new things I bought (more on that later)
I undid the knots and lightly combed them out.
*sigh* I fell inlove.
edit: Because Miami hates me it’s been raining for days and all this humidity so the next day it is…significantly limp but I can still tease some life into it.
So. Suave professionals almond/shea butter conditioner with lustrasilk mango/shea butter cholesterol has the best results this side of the cosmos.
Hair maintenance is my fav past time now.
I really can’r resist making a stupid face.
I had more. But. My face is hilarious and I’m laughing too hard to post them.
I got a little bit of extra money and went on a spree of things I needed and treated myself a bit.
If everything goes right, moneywise
I’m gonna be giving myself sengalese twists. I’m not gonna pay someone 50-100 bucks to do it, when I’m genuinely interested in hair and want to do it myself and if I fail…take that bitch out and try again lol
A protective hairstyle (and gorgeous too) doing these twists actually isn’t all too hard. Just really tedious, depending on the size, which is normally miniature, but hell no, I don’t want them too small. This size in the picture and maybe a little bit bigger.
I’m gonna be buying dark brown extensions and honey dipping the ends before starting.
I won’t be doing it alone forever though. My best friends, Vivi and Zae will be helping me whenever they get home from whatever it is they’re doing.
I gotta buy the weave, hair bleach and I already have all the other essential hair products so I’m good.
Keeping this in for about 2 months or so, depending on my handiwork lol
I can’t wait~!
I’m officially transitioning my hair.
If I have a tight, thick afro like my mom, I’m perming this shit quick.
I do NOT have the face for it…
But something closer to my grandma but not quite. she has wavy, loose curls, but I hope I have something tighter than that.
I won’t know for a few months so good luck to me!
And no, I will NOT become a “Soul Sistah”
Just trying out a few new things before I die.
