I did some amateur ubuntu knots and omg did it come out beautiful.

after I washed my hair and used these new things I bought (more on that later)

I undid the knots and lightly combed them out.

I’m gonna be giving myself sengalese twists. I’m not gonna pay someone 50-100 bucks to do it, when I’m genuinely interested in hair and want to do it myself and if I fail…take that bitch out and try again lol

A protective hairstyle (and gorgeous too) doing these twists actually isn’t all too hard. Just really tedious, depending on the size, which is normally miniature, but hell no, I don’t want them too small. This size in the picture and maybe a little bit bigger.

I’m gonna be buying dark brown extensions and honey dipping the ends before starting. 

I won’t be doing it alone forever though. My best friends, Vivi and Zae will be helping me whenever they get home from whatever it is they’re doing.

So. *sigh*

I gotta buy the weave, hair bleach and I already have all the other essential hair products so I’m good.

If I have a tight, thick afro like my mom, I’m perming this shit quick. I do NOT have the face for it… But something closer to my grandma but not quite. she has wavy, loose curls, but I hope I have something tighter than that.
